Ready to take the next step in your commitment to the local church? Becoming a member of the Free Church is a public statement of faith, ownership, stewardship, and responsibility to use the life and gifts God has given you to benefit others and impact lives in both our church family and community.

The Membership Process

The Membership Process guides you step by step in committing to Thief River Falls Free Church, helping you grow in faith, engage in community, and serve others.

You’ll learn about our church’s history, the distinctives of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), and the church’s mission and vision. 

Our current 5-week class starts SEPT 7 at 9:15am, in room 12. If you'd like to join or are interested in the next class, please contact Ehren Hanson.

Membership Application

Meet with an Elder Board member and pastor to discuss your faith journey, ask questions, and learn more about life as a member of Thief River Falls Free Church.

According to our bylaws, your membership will be voted on by the congregation upon recommendation of the Elder Board.

Celebrate your new membership with a public welcome during a worship service at Thief River Falls Free Church.
