David has begun to minister to the Ojibwa tribe in the Red Lake nation. The goal of David and Rachel’s ministry among the Ojibwa people is: “to serve Christ, to make His name known, and to disciple his people among the Red Lake Nation.” A little bit about his story:
- David has family who belong to the Red Lake reservation
- Before his current ministry, he was an elder at River Ridge Church in Mankato – an EFCA church.
- He has completed a 2-year ministry certificate program with Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary
- He is taking a 3-year Rural Ministry and Leadership certificate program at Oak Hills College
Because of his heritage, he can purchase a home on the reservation and serve within their community. That has yet to be decided but will look at moving from Mankato later this year.
