Paul is ending his letter and he is writing down his final points, the points that will ring in the ears of his listeners just as the final chord in a symphonic work sticks with you at the close. He wants to remind the Thessalonians that their holiness or justification is just as tethered to God’s grace as their salvation, and for that matter, their glorification or when Christ returns.
